Adult Makeup/Cancellation

  • Adult Class Cancellation
    • You can cancel your reservation in a class up to 48 hours in advance. Just use this handy tutorial video to learn how! Check out this tutorial on canceling reservations.
    • We reserve the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified by phone and email 48 hours prior to the class. In the event of a cancellation, the class will be returned to your class card.
  • Adult Class Makeup
    • If you do not cancel your reservation in time (48hrs before) it will be deducted from your class card.
  • Workshop: A cancellation message is required from you by e-mail to with at least 24 hours advance notice to receive a credit or refund.
  • Private Lesson: A cancellation message is required from you by e-mail to with at least 24 hours advance notice to receive a credit or refund.
  • Party/Event Rental: A cancellation message is required from you by e-mail to with at least 7 days advance notice to receive a credit or refund.
  • Inclement Weather: Unless it is noted on our homepage that we are closed due to weather, all classes will be running according to the session’s schedule. If PSCA closes due to inclement weather, your account classes will be returned to your class card.
  • Left over classes: Class cards are only good for the session in which they’re purchased. A remaining balance of classes at the end of a session will not be useable in the next session. In some circumstances (injury, class cancelations) your class card may be refunded or put on hold for the following session. Please contact us at if you would like to place your card on hold or have another concern.

Youth Makeups/ Cancellations

  • Canceling the whole session: 
    • A cancellation notice is required by email 48 hours in advance of the second class of the session to receive a credit or a refund for the remaining classes of the session.
    • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a credit or refund.
    • We reserve the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified by phone 24 hours prior to the class and refunds will be issued by check or by credit to your charge card.
  • Youth makeup-classes:
    • Parents who give at least 48 hours advance notice of an absence are eligible for a make-up class.
      • Please email with the date/s your child will be absent.
      • Please use the Youth Class Calendar to find an appropriate makeup class and suggest it in your email.
      • If you cannot find an appropriate makeup class, please state that in your email.
    • An absence may be made up in any youth class that meets the following requirements:
      • Must be the same length of time or shorter as the class that was missed
      • Must have space available
      • Must be age and level appropriate
    • Makeup classes must be scheduled in the same session as the absence; makeup classes cannot be carried over into the next session.
    • You cannot makeup a makeup.

General Policies

  • Lateness
    • For safety reasons, participants who arrive late must do a mandatory 10 minute warm-up before participating.
  • Appropriate Attire
    • Leotards or long leggings / sweatpants, and T-shirts. No belt buckles, dresses, footed tights, jeans, or shoes of any kind. No jewelry of any kind should be worn during class. Long hair should be tied back.

The Studio Rules

1. Safety First!

  • No one is allowed to do anything that jeopardizes their own safety or the safety of others. Safety rules must be followed by students, as well as parents, sibling, and guests. Failure to act in an appropriate and safe manner may result in your removal from class.
  • ALL participants (or their parents/guardians if under 18) must sign a
    Waiver/Release Form
  • ONLY currently registered students are allowed in the class area
  • NO students allowed anywhere in the facility unless directed by an instructor
  • NO fighting/horseplay of any kind
  • STAY ALERT! Avoid mat areas and other students on equipment while moving through the studio
  • Use CAUTION when getting on and off mats and equipment
  • Mats increase safety but do not eliminate risk of injury-use of common sense and proper learning progressions is necessary at all times
  • NO glass or glass bottles of any kind in the studio
  • Notify instructor if you need to leave class for any reason (restroom, drink etc.)

2. Health Issues

  • Participants on medication that may affect coordination skills should not attend classes. Please advise instructor if student is on any medication and/or is ill and/or has symptoms
    of illness
  • Report any injury or unusual pain/discomfort to instructor immediately
  • Please notify instructors of any learning disabilities or special needs

3. Conduct/Attitude

  • A “Can Do” Attitude is expected
  • Respectful and courteous manners are expected of all persons at all times in the studio
  • Respect your own abilities and the abilities of others
  • Our intention is to foster growth and help set personal goals in a judgment free atmosphere

4. Respect the Equipment

  • Equipment should be used only as intended and put away correctly EVERY time it is used
  • Report any equipment problems to instructor immediately
  • Students and parents are liable for any damage caused by negligent behavior

5. Respect the Studio

  • Students are NOT permitted on the studio floor until their class time
  • NO food, drinks or chewing gum in class areas
  • Clean up after yourself; all trash goes immediately into trash cans
  • NO SMOKING anywhere in the studio
  • NO Alcohol on premises

6. Photo and Video

  • In order for us to continue to allow photography and videography at PSCA, we must insist on courteous and respectful use of media. This means. . .
  • Photos and video taken on the studio floor are restricted to personal, private use, and require permission of everyone in the shot.
  • Photos and video taken from the observation area are for personal use only.
  • Photos and video of people at PSCA should never be posted online without the written permission of everyone in the shot.

7. Personal Property

  • PSCA is NOT responsible for lost or stolen property in or around our premises, including the studio floor, the observation area, or your vehicle. We strongly recommend that you do not bring valuables (wedding rings, laptops, tablets, Iphones, ect.) onto our premises.
  • Lockers are available for daily use for students of PSCA. We recommend that members and guests do not bring valuables into the school and that students purchase a combination lock or padlock to secure their locker while using school facilities. DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES UNPROTECTED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ARTICLES. Due to the limited number of lockers available,we cannot allow locks to be left on overnight. When this occurs, the locks may be removed and any personal articles in the locker may be placed in the lost and found. We accept no responsibility for articles left behind. PSCA personnel are not allowed to accept responsibility for personal articles.
