Biographical Info

Bronwyn Sims is an actor, clown, aerialist, choreographer, and educator. She has appeared in film (Next Stop Wonderland, Dischord, Trial by Fire) and on television including a role in the Emmy award winning first season of The Sopranos.

Bronwyn was a Lecturer in Acting at Yale School of Drama, and was on the faculty at New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA). She also was a Lecturer in Stage Management at Yale School of Drama and has conducted guest master classes at Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training, The University of New Hampshire, University of Florida, Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, STREB, The Trapeze Loft and Big Sky Works. Her choreography and production credits include work with Yale Repertory Theatre (The Master Builder), Yale School of Drama (Orlando), American Repertory Theatre (The Donkey Show), and New England Center for Circus Arts. Bronwyn has trained in a wide range of physical and theatrical disciplines.

Her teaching specialties include aerial and acrobatic choreography, gymnastics, partner acrobatics, yoga, inversions, and physical work for the actor.

Bronwyn is currently pursuing her MFA in Devised Physical Theatre Performance through Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training and The University of The Arts in Philadelphia PA.
