Biographical Info

My name is Nicole Burgio. Friends and family call me Cole. From age zero to eighteen I defined myself as a gymnast. As a little girl I loved jumping, flying, flipping, training, and competing. Now that I am older, I define myself as much more. I am a hard worker, creator, athlete, trapeze artist, acrobat, dreamer, friend, sister, and daughter.

My artistic goal is to perform in an ensemble and work side by side with other movers. I strive to create beautiful movement and interesting shapes. I love what I do. I love the hard work and dedication it takes to be a circus performer. I love the people you meet and the places circus takes you.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to train gymnastics, static trapeze, hand to hand, and banquine for many years. I’ve enjoyed dedicating every day to the mastery of my skills. I have trained with some of the most talented coaches from Montreal’s Ecole Nationale de Cirque, New England Center of Circus Arts, and the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. My training has led me to Canada and all over the United States, and I can’t want to see where my next adventure will take me.

I am thankful for every day I get to do what I love. I am thankful for the people I train with, for the support I feel from family and friends. I am thankful for circus finding me and giving me a voice.
